A clip from Global News on who found Theo.
A clip from Global News on what happened after he was rescued.
I found out this morning that Theodore the harbour porpoise rescued this summer close to Victoria, BC died last night at the Vancouver Aquarium.

I'm having trouble finding much information on this story and what has happened, but I here is what I know so far:
  • Theodore was found and rescued July 24th, 2012 on First Nations land in Esquimalt, B.C.
  • He arrived at the Vancouver Aquarium on July 25th at 3am.
  • Theo was kept in a tank in a sling that helped him float since he was too weak to swim on his own.
  • As he slowly made progress, Vancouver Aquarium seemed hopeful that they would be able to release him back into the wild.
  • He passed away last night (October 4th, 2012).
If you have any information on the cause of his death or anything in regards to this story, please feel free to email me.
